Free Learning & Development Support for Furloughed Employees

On 20th March, the Chancellor announced details of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme – as if you didn’t know already. As part of this announcement it was revealed that Furloughed staff can still undertake Learning & Development.

To play our part in helping businesses through these challenging times, Training Sensei is offering FREE access to our Learning Lounge for companies with furloughed employees.

Furloughed employees will receive full access to our award-winning L&D opportunities.

This opportunity lasts for the duration of the government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme

The Details

At Training Sensei we recognise the variety of challenges many businesses and employees are currently faced with. The sweeping changes COVID-19 has already had on our personal and professional lives is at best, disorientating. Who knows where it will take us next. Not only is the health of our population under attack, but so too are our businesses and employment prospects. Not so long ago few people knew what the word ‘Furloughed’ meant, now unprecedented numbers find themselves in that situation.

We’ve been asking ourselves how we can play our role to help businesses and employees to stay sharp, engaged and healthy.

To help companies and learners through these challenging times we’re providing complimentary access to the Training Sensei platform for furloughed employees. This opportunity is available to businesses furloughing any number of employees and lasts for the duration of the government’s Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, with no obligation to continue beyond this. Furloughed employees will receive access to our entire Learning Lounge where the best personal development and learning opportunities are available.

We will continue to add resources and events such as our upcoming bootcamp where we will be challenging users to join us for a 15 minute daily mental workout. Look out for updates!

We truly hope that we can help employees turn this time into a period of growth — to learn and develop skills that will have a long-lasting benefit for them and their employer. Your employees could be learning how to use the latest software tools, developing their influence and persuasion skills, looking after their mental wellbeing or simply satisfying their curiosity with something new.

The world will look very different when all this is over and we want you and your teams to feel equipped and empowered to take on the new challenges this will bring.
